Trisa and I went last night to see the new Hayao Miyazaki flick, the so called Spirited Away . Although I'm thinking I like the original title much better-- Sen to Chihiro no Kamikakushi . Whatever you call it, it's a terrifically good film. Everything that Disney ought to be, but painfully isn't, Sen to Chihiro no Kamikakushi is relentlessly imaginative. We actually care about its characters and the film's tasty weirdnesses are such as to make distinctive brilliant threads of a single tapestry. It was cute, it was engaging, it was magical in a good way. Go see it. Yesterday's other momentous thing for me was that I beat Morrowind. Well, er, technically I beat it. I destroyed the final Bad Thing and all, I just need to walk down the proper corridor so the proper cinematic shall load. Rest assured, I soon shall. Then it's time for champagne mates!
