My taste for root beer

So I've not posted in a while. What I have I been doing?

I was taking . . . one . . . really long . . . slow . . . drink . . . of root beer.

I also saw The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers. Twice. It's extremely good, and I enjoyed it even in spite of a group of homophobic hecklers present during my second viewing.

Aside from those things . . . lately I've been reading Shirley Jackson's We Have Always Lived in the Castle which Caitlin Kiernan recommended to me. So far it's been a fascinating read. I'm only twenty pages into it, but I'm quite absorbed, and it wholly gives one the feeling of being right in the middle of something full and great.

I was reading it this Friday night at North County Fair mall, a place I went to since it was dark, rainy, far away, and in the epicentre of Christmas shopping. I like a thrill!

On this journey I managed to do some Christmas shopping myself. I found something for my sister and something for trisa, the two people I know who are easiest to shop for. I'll prolly just get the other, difficult bastards some gift certificates.

Now I sleep!
